Theatregoers log every show they see with the date, the seat and their stars, post Moments with photos and words, and share each night as a card made for stories and chats. Aklaim is made by one person, Oren, and its members support it through Premium. Every show has a page with its rating and Moments from people who've been, and when a show returns in a new production, that production gets a page of its own. Members follow each other, applaud each other's Moments, and see what's on and what other theatregoers are seeing, from the West End to tours and shows abroad. Profiles show a member's theatre at a glance, with Stats, Wrapped and 117 achievements to earn. More than 2,600 theatregoers have logged over 21,000 nights out on Aklaim.

How to Write It

  • Aklaim, with a capital A (the logo is lowercase).
  • Moments, with a capital M, for posts.
  • Applaud a Moment; there are no likes.
  • Productions: the original and a revival are separate productions of one show.
  • Premium for the supporter subscription, never “Pro”.
  • For You, Following and What’s On are the feed’s tabs.

Moments
A post about one night at the theatre: photos, words, stars and reactions. Moments appear on your profile, on the show’s page and in your followers’ feeds. Others can Applaud them.
Productions
A show can have several productions, like the original and a revival. Each has its own page, rating and photos, and Aklaim asks which one you saw.
Share Cards
Images drawn from your night for stories and chats: a ticket, a Moment, an invite, your theatre so far, an achievement or a show. A shared link previews as the card and opens the show.
Stats
Your time in the seats (counted in hours and in Hamiltons), your theatre years, your week, your season, your taste and your corner of the theatre map.
Achievements
117 to earn, from Nights Out to feats like Row A and Transatlantic. Each has its own medal, coloured by how many members hold it: Common, Rare, Epic or Legendary.
What’s On
The shows members have been to lately, from the West End to tours and shows abroad, then shows on your wishlist that are on sale and booking that’s about to end.
Premium
An optional subscription that supports Aklaim, with extras: every stat, Wrapped, Next Up, recommendations, custom shows and supporter looks. Everything you log stays free.
